Willow Ferris is a media artist working with 3D animation to examine how digital technologies can reveal the systems and patterns that shape everyday life. Playing with a mix of real and surreal, she is interested in using computer graphics as a creative medium to abstract real-world subject matter, fostering new relationships with the world around us. Her practice is grounded in research and experimentation, employing techniques such as procedural modelling to build immersive, system-driven animations that invite viewers to reflect on their own position within the structures they inhabit, and on the possibilities for reform embedded within them.
