Mona Forghani

Mona Forghani is a Sydney-based artist whose handmade collages explore narrative, nostalgia, and visual play. Her introduction to collage began informally, cutting up photographs and magazine pages to create artworks for her bedroom walls. With time, continued experimentation, and growing exposure through social media, this personal hobby evolved to include exhibitions, commissioned works, and an Etsy store.

In 2016, Mona was selected to exhibit at The Other Art Fair in Sydney, which marked her first public presentation as an artist. Coverage of the 2016 Fair by the Sydney Morning Herald named her among the “six to watch”. Since then, she has exhibited in Sydney, Melbourne, and London. Mona continues to create collages as an ongoing personal practice, alongside her career as a lawyer.
